Annie

Annie Webster works at Gary Pickering Funerals as a funeral director and embalmer. After moving to New Zealand from the UK in 2006, she went on to work as a hairdresser in Palmerston North for 7 years, but always felt that her true calling was in the funeral care industry. This journey then eventuated when she moved to Masterton in 2019, where she now lives with her two little boys, Zeppelin and Macauley.

Annie is passionate about caring for people and our community, holding many diplomas including those in Mental Health, Psychology and Legal Studies. This reflects within her individual approach, care, guidance and support of grieving families after the loss of a loved one.   

Alongside being a mum, Annie is also a talented musician with an “old soul” and a great love for Jazz and its musical legends such as Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra. In her spare time, she loves getting creative, making memories with her boys, and socialising with friends over a good cheese platter.
