Woodhouse, Wendy

Woodhouse, Jacquelyn Wendy, born in Melbourne 20 February 1945 and passed away peacefully in Masterton 22 August 2023, aged 78.

Daughter of the late Shirley (née Sterrett) and Arthur Brasell; former wife of Roger Woodhouse (deceased).

Mother of Erin, Geoffrey, and Zara, and mother-in-law of Barry, and David. Grandmother of Keogh and Malenka Bradley; Katie, Grace, Ben, and Jessica Woodhouse; and Jack and Willow Owen. Sister of John (deceased), Heather, Suzanne, Danny (deceased), and Peter; and Linda, Daphne and Keith Brasell.

The family would like to thank her dear friends Hilda and Rob Payne for their loving care of Wendy, particularly during her last months. Family and friends also wish to thank Dr Matt Mills, the Kahukura nurses, and Focus and Access caregivers for their wonderful kindness and support.

In accordance with Wendy’s wishes a private funeral service has been held.
