  4. I have so many memories of a very significant time in our lives and the part Bryan, you Carol and your then young children ( Scott, Gaye, Kerry and Sally ) played. I will be watching tomorrow and will be sad not to be with you. Such an icon you will be honouring and I feel privileged to have been a friend. Love to you all, Sue Blyth 💕🌸🌹💐

  5. To Carol and Family,

We share your grief in the loss of Bryan. We have very special memories of the happy times shared at the Tinui Tennis Courts where your girls would look after our younger ones so we could play as well.Of days at Castlepoint, school pets days, and more recently, of the precious time made for us at Shingly when Jim was so sick. Our thoughts are especially with you Carol at this devastating separation. Weather willing, I am hoping to be with you all tomorrow. Much Love, the Crutchley Family

  6. Lovely celebration of Bryans life. I have many fond memories growing up as one of the Sperry children in Tinui. Tennis, New Year woolshed parties etc. I do remember the highlight of my week when I was little (before I started playing tennis) was getting to the Tinui tennis club on Saturday’s to babysit Sally – even though I had a baby sister Pippa the same age – Sally was who I looked forward to babysitting!! – sorry Pippa haha 🙂
Take care Carol – you will miss your soul mate. Our thoughts are with you & all the Whitehead family – love & hugs Gerard & Janet Casey (nee Sperry). xox

  7. Dear Carol, and all your beautiful family, we send all our condolences and love to you at this very sad time. thank you for sharing your funeral to those of us who couldn’t be there, it was a truly lovely farewell to Bryan. Growing up in Tinui has many fond memories and many of them involve times with the Whiteheads. Times at tennis battling on the court, the barbeques, new year parties (I will never touch Rum again!!), fun parties and dressing up, the laughter, (didnt realise the extent of Bryan’s pranks, but am not surprised!!). Bryan (and Bob) will be missed so much but Iknow he was very proud of the legacy he has left behind. Thinking of you all and we send much love. Robyn and Craig xx
