Urquhart, Colin Alexander – Sadly, passed away on 16 September 2023 at home in Masterton surrounded by family.
Much loved husband and soulmate of Beryl.
Loving father and father-in-law of Karen and Simon Bradley, Gavin and Becks Urquhart, Brendon and Belle Urquhart.
Cherished Poppa of Max, Ben, Amelia, Charlie and Livy.
A ceremony to celebrate Colin’s life will be held in The Village Chapel, 4 – 6 High Street Kuripuni, Masterton at 2:00pm on Thursday 21 September. A private cremation will follow the service.
Beryl, Karen, Gavin, Brendon and families our hearts go out to you all on the sad passing of Colin. You have looked after Colin so well during the last eleven weeks sharing precious family and personal time together. Its true testament to the love of a strong family unit and Colin would not have wished for anything more. Look after one another over the coming weeks – especially Mum, as she navigates her way forward from losing a wonderful loving lifetime husband of 53 plus years. Treasured memories. Paul, Joy deceased, and Dion.

Beryl, we are very saddened to read of Colin’s death. It is many years since we have caught with you both but we especially appreciated Colin’s gentle way with people when he was working at Premiere and always knowing we didn’t have to recheck anything Colin did. We were thrilled for you both when you took over the Mailrun, though that was when we started to lose contact, only meeting up with Colin once or twice after.
We realise it is going to be a painful time for you and your family over the coming months & years but we also know you will have many wonderful memories to recall & Colin will forever be in your hearts.
We are praying for you all that the peace of God will help you over this difficult period.
