Sayer, Robert James (Bob) – Peacefully at Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North on 7th January 2024 aged 74 years.
Dearly loved husband of Ina.
Loved father of Geoff, and Pete and loved Grandad of Alana, Sammy, and Dani.
Loved brother of Linda, and David.

Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Bob’s life in The Village Chapel 4 – 6 High Street, Kuripuni, Masterton on Thursday 11th January at 1.30pm.
Ina we were devasted to hear of the passing of Bob. Our sincere sympthany to you and your family. We have had many good times in our motor home together. Thinking of you.

We are very sorry for your loss.
I have very fond memories of you all, especially Bob in the days at Ohau – a very hands on and motivated man, that deserved (and often demanded!) every bit of respect. I especially remember Bob being very tolerant of my impatience, culminating in an “I told you that would happen if you didn’t slow down – now you’ll have to go and see your mother” when I didn’t listen to him and lowered the tractor jack too quickly & it landed on me & broke my arm. He was very talented and practical, and the world is a worse place for his absence.
Apologies that we are unable to make it to his final farewell, but our thoughts are with you at this very sad time.
