Macdonald, Jane Marie. On the 6th of April 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loving wife to Dave, the best mother to Hannah and Sophie, mother-in-law to Widgy, and a very special Nana to Mac, Frankie, and Thomas.

A passionate New Entrant teacher at Douglas Park and Cornwall Street Schools; nurturing and inspiring countless little learners.

In line with Jane’s wishes there will be no formal funeral, but if you knew her raise a Tui in her honour!
