Harte, Daniel Augustine (Dan): Peacefully, surrounded by family at Masterton on Monday 29th June 2026 aged 99 years.
Cherished husband of his late wife Sally.
Beloved father and father-in-law of John and Paddy, Mary (Deceased), David, Anne, Susan and Beaver, Patricia and Gerry, Brigid and Gavin.
Proud Grandpa and Great-Grandpa of 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A requiem mass and service to celebrate Dan’s life will take place in The Village Chapel 4 – 6 High Street, Kuripuni, Masterton tomorrow, Saturday 4th July 2026 at 11am followed by private burial.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Wairarapa Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Our heart felt sympathies to the Harte family in Masterton. We have great memories of Dan and his family coming home to Cork Ireland to visit his relatives here. We have great memories. We also had the pleasure of staying in Masterton with Dan and family many times over the last forty years. May his gentle soul rest in peace in Heaven where he is united with all his family far and near Johnny and Phil O Brien
