Daphne was a wonderful friend. We both worked as Matron’s Secretary at Masterton Hospital at different times, so shared many memories. When I moved to Hastings 2006 we have kept in regular contact. Rest in Peace dear Daphne. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Our condolences go out to Larry, Vicki and Diane and their extended families.
Daphne was a very special lady. I met her first in 1963 as a young teacher at Harley Street School in Masterton when she and the family welcomed me into their home. This close wonderful friendship with me and my family had continued over the following years
You all have our thoughts and love at this time

Sending our condolences to Daphne’s family. Daphne and Lindsay were the very best of neighbours to us in South Road for all those years and I appreciate the happy memories of the laughs and kindness that come from across the fence.
Our loving thoughts are with you all. We very much appreciated being able to share online in the memories, and tributes to Daphne. As was said so often, she was a very special lady. We will miss our catch ups with her during visits to Masterton. You will all miss her so much more!
What a wonderful farewell today for Daphne. We have been friends since secondary school days and I will certainly miss her. I send my sincere sympathy to Larry, Vicki and Diane and the rest of her lovely family. I did appreciate being able to be present at the funeral on line and being able to say farewell to a truly good friend. Rest in peace Daphne. I will certainly miss you.
Your old school mate Beryl.
