  1. Hello Ann,
Sympathy and commiserations on Colin’s passing. It seems an awful long time ago when Ben and I first met you both, in 1989 at Rotorua’s Lions convention, and other DG’s elect, for that milestone in our lives! Bringing us all in contact with hundreds of likeminded people, and friendships enjoyed. It’s remembered with much fondness, and for that, will remain (as the song goes) “Thank you for being a friend”. And thank you Colin for your stalwart support.
Ben passed away on 10 March 2025, also with cancer, but mostly old age. And I am living with my son in Feilding, but looking into resthome care in Upper Hutt.
Take care of yourself Ann, with my sincerest wishes, Maureen Lee

  2. Dear Ann, and family, we are so sorry to hear of Colin’s passing and want you to know we are thinking of you and wishing you all the best. Dianne and Colin Southey, Palmerton North

  3. Dear Ann and family. Tony and I are very sad to hear of the passing of your lovely husband Colin. We are so glad we got to call in and see you a few months ago whilst in NZ. Tony always commented that he found Colin very interesting and loved listening to his stories. We would both like to thank you and Collin also for your very special friendship, love and support you showed to my mother, Mary, when she was living on her own. Colin was such a lovely, gentle giant. Please look after yourself, especially whilst going through this difficult time in your life. We love you.
