Our thoughts are with you all. A lot of fond memories of Richard and the horses he and Lyn bred over the many years, he will be missed by a lot of horsey people from all over the country. Condolences from the Robyn Walker, Debbie & Danny Reiri & Donna & Tony Candy.

Its with sadness i read of Richards passing. We were at school together right through primary Then Richard went to Wairarapa collage so he could do a farming course at the same time he was working at a small dairy farm at the end of Harrison street here in Featherston ,I remember he saved up enough money to buy a bike off Alf Osborn in Fox street he was the envy of all us pimply faced youths because it had balloon tires.I lasted talked with Richard when the Featherston school reunion was on and it was just like the old days which is good when you meet up with an old friend. He will be missed. Murray Higginson Featherston

Dear Crafar family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we truly hope that you will be able to find the strength and love to stay strong during these difficult times. Although we have not known Richard for as long nor as well as we liked to, during our brief time together at Blair and Silvia’s wedding he had shown to be the most hospitable host, a loving family man, a true gentleman and a quirky speech giver. Richard’s presence will be missed, but no doubt his memory and legacy will long live on through his loved ones. With much love, from Sze family Brian, Amy, Ewen, Cassie and Patrick
