Sorry unable to attend celebration of Shirley’s Life. Dad died 1995 and mum is now in a Rest home in Masterton unable to walk.
So on their behalf I send my condolences to your families, it was always fun to meet up with them both on the rare occasions we were down that way.

Many Years since I have seen Shirley and Darcy but remembered fondly for her warm welcomes when we called in from Dannevirke and Hastings over the early years. Her Uncle Bob (Stalker) and Aunty Zena (nee Gilliland) and 7 children
“The Bloody Stalkers” have arrived, put on the Jug. She used to do our pudding bowl haircuts when we lived in Kuripuni Street.
